I grew up in Denver, graduated from Brigham Young University - Idaho, spent 3 great years in Las Vegas, and now live in Salt Lake. I work for a marketing company in Ogden. I'm the youngest of six children and an aunt to 27 1/2 kids. I've lived in 9 states and visited 36. I make wishes at 11:11 and love the magic of falling snow. I'm pretty serious, but love being goofy on the side. Just when you think you've figured me out, I'll surprise you...guaranteed!

Vegas Baby
I don't drink a lot of pop...soda...whatever you call it. Every once and awhile I do though. Today was that day. I only had a $5 bill for a $1 pop. Fortunately, the machine gives you change. Unfortunately, it gave me my $4 in dimes. I thought I had hit the jackpot in Vegas with the clinging of all my money. I had to put my hand over the opening because dimes started shooting out because it was so full. It was kinda ridiculous, but very humorous!

That IS hilarious! Remember the postage vending machine in the Manwaring? I only had a large bill (cuz that's how I roll, yeah right) to buy a book of stamps and it gave me change in gold dollar coins. It was so loud & it took forever! AND I had always hoped I would never have one of those gold dollar coins, but I got several that day! SEVERAL!
ReplyDeleteThe pop machine usually gives me my change in the gold dollar coins...yet doesn't accept them. DUMB! Ha ha ha...I gave the gold dollar coin as payment to the man at the dirty taco stand today.
